WHAT WUT IS

This site is owned and operated by the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), a Polish university.

OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your privacy both offline and online is of the utmost importance to us.

This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it, all of which comply with common web standards. In particular our privacy policy is in accordance with current European data law, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), taking effect on May 25, 2018.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). With the implementation of GDPR anytime personal data is collected on an EU citizen, explicit and informed consent has to be given from that person for the specific purpose for which the data was intended. The regulation aims at strengthening data protection and further harmonizing data privacy laws across the EU, enhancing the rights of individuals regarding their personal data.

WUT and partners:

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) WUT has asked NARSIS Workshop participants to give the permission for WUT to use the necessary data to continue to communicate with them and ensure appropriate coordination and smooth organization of NARSIS Workshop.

You have the right to access your personal data and the right to change them if they are not correct. You have the right to freely object to the further processing of your personal data by a simple request given by means of e-mail.

Public in General:

The aim of the processing is exclusively to enable you to be given a personal answer to your questions concerning the organisation of the NARSIS Workshop. Your personal data will not be neither used for commercial purposes nor put at the disposal of third parties. Your personal data will be erased 4 months after the end of Workshop. Your personal data may be then transferred to EU for archiving purposes.

If you apply for the financing from ENEN+ Project, you agree that your personal data will be transferred to ENEN Organisation in order to grant financing for the participation in the NARSIS Workshop. Since then your personal data will treated according to their GDPR privacy policy.
